1. Our 7-Day Return Window

You have 7 calendar days from the date you receive your item(s) to initiate a return request. If 7 days have passed since your delivery, unfortunately, we are unable to offer you a refund or exchange.


 

2. Eligibility Criteria for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • Unused and in Original Condition: The item must be unused, unwashed, and in the exact same condition that you received it. It must be in its original, undamaged packaging, with all original tags, labels, seals, and accessories (e.g., chargers, manuals, remotes) intact.

  • Proof of Purchase: You must provide the original receipt or valid proof of purchase (e.g., Order ID, delivery note).

  • Reason for Return: Returns are accepted for the following reasons:

    • The item received is defective or damaged upon delivery.

    • The item received is different from what was ordered (wrong item/model/color).

    • The item does not function as described by the manufacturer.

    • (Optional for “change of mind” returns, often with conditions): Customer changed mind (subject to a restocking fee and return shipping cost).


 

3. Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, or product-specific reasons, certain types of items cannot be returned. These include, but are not limited to:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, fresh produce, certain groceries).

  • Health and personal care items (e.g., opened cosmetics, perfumes, intimate apparel, sanitary goods, innerwear).

  • Items where the sealed packaging, manufacturer’s seal, or security tags have been broken or tampered with (e.g., software, DVDs, CDs, certain electronics, ear-buds).

  • Gift cards, vouchers, or digital products.

  • Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products.

  • Items explicitly marked as “Final Sale” or “Clearance” during purchase.


 

4. The Return Process

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide Details: In your communication, please include:

    • Your Order ID.

    • The specific item(s) you wish to return.

    • A detailed reason for the return (e.g., “damaged on arrival,” “wrong item delivered,” “defect”).

    • Crucially, for damaged, defective, or wrong items, please attach clear photos or a short video demonstrating the issue. This is essential for our assessment.

  3. Return Authorization: Our team will review your request. If eligible, you will receive a Return Authorization and detailed instructions on how to return the item. Do not send any item back to us without prior authorization.

  4. Secure Packaging: Carefully pack the item in its original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and freebies (if any).

  5. Shipping the Return:

    • If the return is due to our error (e.g., defective, damaged, or incorrect item sent), we will cover the return shipping costs or arrange for pickup.

    • For all other return reasons (e.g., change of mind, if applicable), you will be responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service for your protection.


 

5. Refunds

Once your returned item is received and undergoes a thorough inspection by our team (which may take up to 14 business days), we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved, your refund will be processed within 7-14 business days from the date of approval.

  • Refund Method:

    • For purchases made via Debit or Credit Cards, refunds will be issued back to your original payment card or may transfer to the bank account.

    • For purchases made via Bank Transfers/Deposits, refunds will be processed to a bank account you provide.

  • Partial Refunds: In certain situations, a partial refund may be granted if the item is not in its original condition, is damaged, or missing parts not due to our error.


 

6. Exchanges

If you wish to exchange an item (e.g., for a different size or color), please follow the return process outlined above. Once your returned item is approved and processed, you can then place a new order for the desired item, subject to availability.


 

7. Damaged or Defective Items Upon Delivery

If you receive an item that is damaged or appears defective upon delivery, it is imperative that you:

  1. Inspect Immediately: Carefully inspect your order upon receipt before the delivery agent leaves, if possible.

  2. Notify Us Promptly: Contact our customer service at hello@dealstore.lk or WhatsApp +94742617414 within 24 hours of delivery. Provide your Order ID and comprehensive photographic or video evidence of the damage or defect.

  3. Do Not Use: Do not use the damaged or defective item. We will assess the situation and arrange for a return, replacement, or appropriate solution based on our investigation.


 

8. Order Cancellations

Please refer to our Terms & Conditions Policy for details regarding order cancellation. Generally, orders can only be canceled if they have not yet entered the processing or dispatch stage.
